Bio

Born Jonathan Edward Querisma on Feb. 5, 1993, the East Atlanta native has taken the rap game by storm with his surprise attendance. He gently maneuvers through a track with his calm laid back flow and extreme lyrical wordplay.  Growing up, the majority of his life was compelled in sports. Attending Troy University where he played football and ran track, he made a name for himself athletically. Growing up, Charisma Mufasa lost some of his closest friends to the streets and was raised by his grandmother after drugs overwhelmed his mother's life and she was unable to keep him and his siblings. "I felt like music was a way to escape that pain." "I gotta live for Tarris, Nikki, and Angelica" They are my motivation and music is the outlet. Whether I'm happy or sad or any kind of mood their is music I can listen to to relate. Often spotted on the road with Young Dolph and other artists as an opening act, he found his undeniable passion for music and the stage. Charisma Mufasa also has made appearances on Fox television series "Empire" and Step Up: Highwater.  In 2016, he was a defensive back in the Canadian Football League for the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He has also been brought in to compete for contracts with the Jacksonville Jaguars and drew interest from the Buffalo Bills as well. Many believe he got his shot in pro athletics where he made history at the BSN Combine in Feb. 2016 when he freakishly jumped a 44.5 inch vertical, tying 4th all time high at any combine for NFL and CFL athletes. In 2016, he discovered his lyrical gift for music, when he decided to fully pursue his career in the industry. Fresh in the game, he has wasted no time already having worked with the likes of Blac Chyna, Migos, Migo Domingo, and Young Scooter. He list his musical influences as Tupac, Big Syke, Young Dolph, Bone Thugs and Harmony, and Mary J. Blige. Lionhearted was defined as a series that gave insight to Charisma Mufasa's life. On Nov 18, 2018, he was shot 5 times at Grant Park in Atlanta Ga. He quickly picked up hype in the media and dropped Lionhearted 2 right after the incident.
